We celebrated World Book Day and what a fantastic day it was! All the students and staff got really into dressing up and I was so impressed with all the effort that had gone into hair, makeup and outfits. All the students had the opportunity to explore a jungle book forest school session and I think it’s safe to say every student enjoyed something outside, even if it wasn’t always the baked banana. In our classes, the students took part in themed activities some including cooking, attention autism and even decorating knickers! In the afternoon we joined together as a whole school listening to a story that had all of our themes tied together with a musical twist. It was a lovely day and I can definitely say we celebrated in Stanton Vale style!
